WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?

Mesotherapy is a medical treatment which involves putting a "cocktail" of vitamins into the dermis of the skin to treat a variety of concerns, including cellulite or local fat, skin ageing and hair loss. The concept behind mesotherapy is that it is far more effective to deliver medications directly to the area being treated, rather than for a patient to take them as oral medication, or to use them externally as a cream or lotion. By using this methods, any possible side effects of the treatment are limited.

WHAT DOES A MESOTHERAPY TREATMENT INVOLVE?

Mesotherapy can be applied in different ways, however, at Wellness Studio, we use injections to deliver the product into the skin. Depending on the area to be treated, a long fine needle, or a shorter needle may be used. The treatment takes around 30-40 minutes and involves your practitioner injecting small quantities of individual tailored cocktail into the desired area. Following the injection, the practitioner will massage the area with arnica gel.
